What we built: a CRM that worked like a conversation
A regional services firm came to us with a problem they'd diagnosed as a CRM problem. They'd tried two platforms in three years, neither one stuck, and the team was back to a shared spreadsheet for anything that actually mattered. Deals were slipping. Leadership couldn't see the pipeline. Every Monday started with the same conversation about who was supposed to follow up with whom. They wanted to know which CRM would finally solve it — and we told them none of them would, because the tool wasn't the problem.
What we built wasn't a new CRM. It was a thin layer on top of the one they already had: cleaner intake from their website and referral partners, automatic reminders that nudged the right person at the right time, and a single weekly digest that gave leadership a picture of the pipeline they could actually trust. Three months in, follow-up was happening on schedule, the Monday meetings shrank from forty minutes to ten, and nobody had to learn a new system to get there. The real win wasn't the automation — it was that the team's conversations stopped being about administrative work and started being about clients again.
